We specialize in photographing major volleyball tournaments anywhere we are wanted — we've traveled as far West as Honolulu, Hawaii to as far East as Pula, Croatia — we're willing to go pretty much anywhere!
Are you organizing a tournament?
If you run an exising or are organizing a new tournament and are looking for a studio to provide photographs to your competitors and their families, we would be happy to talk with you about your needs. We are a fully self-sufficient photography studio — we bring everything needed to setup a huge, gorgeous, eye-catching booth that has proved very successful in bringing in large crowds of interested families. Give us a visible, high traffic area and we'll take care of everything else it takes to make it a great tournament!
We've been photographing volleyball tournaments for more than 15 years. It's our priority to be a valuable partner in creating a wonderful atmosphere for your athletes and their families. We're always happy to share images from the event with you, the organizers, to help promote and grow the event — whether on your own site, via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
Travel and Photography — two things I love to do!
No destination too far! In 2015 my daughter, Ryan (who is one of my photographers), and I traveled to Pula, Croatia to photograph the Global Challenge tournament. I am always interested in opportunities to travel to new locations and meet new people.
Our Booth
Built to really make an impression!
Our goal is to create the most beautiful product possible, and that includes our tournament booth. Every year we look at ways to improve the booth, make it more attractive to families and improve its flows and presentation. What good is friendly staff, great photography and a comprehensive ordering system if no one knows you are there or if your booth doesn't reflect the quality of your product?
To achieve those goals, we've invested — and continue to invest — in everything we need to setup our booth, without relying on anything from the venue other than a location and power. We provide all of our own pole and drape, tables, chairs, and electrical cordage. We custom design print all of our own signage in-house.
We bring with us hundreds of printed samples of our finished work — so that families will have confidence in what their prints and collages will look like when they arrive on their doorstep.
Here are a couple of fun 360 Panoramas of our booth at the 2018 Colorado Crossroads. The first is the night before the beginning of the event. The booth is newly setup and ready to go. This image really shows the scope of the booth (this is actually one of our smaller setups) and the presence and viewing/ordering ability we can bring to a booth. When this booth is busy, it's really something!
The second image is the final day of the first weekend, after our major rush of the day had finished. As you can see, the booth is in a bit of a shambles, but it was a fun day!
Our Software
Custom written to offer the fastest, most flexible tournament viewing and ordering experience.
It's always been our goal to offer the best experience possible — and this includes how we present and sell our photographs. When we started photographing tournaments, we searched for an off-the-shelf software solution that would help up achieve what we wanted. Unfortunately, nothing we found supported the range of products we wanted to offer, the volume of sales for a major tournament, or had the overall user experience we were looking for. So we made due with a simple viewing system and paper order forms.
However, after our first major season traveling around the U.S. in 2005 saw us buried in boxes of paper, we knew that paper order forms wouldn't cut it anymore and so began the crash course on writing our own, in-house solution for viewing, ordering and fulfillment. Since then, the creation and maintenance of this system has become a full time occupation in itself and it now powers nearly every aspect of our day to day operations.
But the main purpose behind it remains — to provide a comprehensive, easy to use, fast platform for displaying our photographs and ordering all of our products. This includes a collage design module that provides a what-you-see-is-what-you-get, pixel-accurate previews so that customers can see exactly what they will get.
This system gives us a huge advantage — we are regularly approached by photographers asking if they can purchase a copy of it!
