About Us

Academy Volleyball Club Chances are you've seen us around for years. We are a family owned and operated photography studio specializing in the highest quality volleyball action and team photography. We've been the NCVA's photography sponsor for nearly 20 years, and have photographed tournaments all over the US - from Honolulu, Hawai`i to Atlanta, Georgia all the way to Pula, Croatia.

Our goal is to achieve the most dynamic, energetic, emotional and beautiful images of volleyball — a sport we have come to love. This site is filled with examples of our work. We invite you to take some time to browse the site to learn more about us.

Working with Us

We would be happy to partner with your club to provide you with the best volleyball action photography available. Volleyball is a very challenging sport to photograph but we have specialized in it for more than 20 years! It can be very difficult to get great action images for your website, social media accounts and club promotional materials. Why not have us do it for you?

Absolute Volleyball Club There are a two approaches a club can take when working with us. You can choose to take advantage of one or both methods.

Hire us to photograph one or more of your teams at an event.
Promote us to your familes and — for any of your teams that signs up for one of our full digital coverages— we'll share a selection of images with you.

To take advantage of both, a club could select particular teams in they would like photographed and sign up for them directly. Then, via promotion to your members, you can still take advantage of shared images when families sign up to have teams photographed.

Approach 1: Hire us directly

Purchase photography coverages of one or more of your teams at an event.

Vision Volleyball Club

Select an event at which you would like your teams to be photographed. In order to keep our packages as affordable as possible, package pricing varies depending on the event. Events in or near Sacramento or that do not require overnight stays are priced lower than major and extremely popular events such as Far Westerns.
You can select the length of the coverages (1 Set, 1 Match or 2 Match). When photographing a team, our goal is to photograph as many athletes in action on the court as possible. The number of images in a coverage varies depending on its length and includes images of action, cheers, huddles, portraits, etc.
- A Social Media coverage (a partial set) of a team starts at 75 - 100 images.
- A one set coverage of a team generally starts at 175-200 images.
- A one match coverage is usually 350-450 images.
- A two match coverage is generally 700-1000 images.
From your coverage you will receive all digital files as downloadable images which you can use on your club website and promotional materials. (Social media, emails, flyers, etc.)
Share the images with your families as a benefit of being a member of your club.
When photographing more than 3 teams from the same club at the same event, receive a sliding scale discount on coverages based on the type and number of coverages purchased. Please contact us for more information.

Approach 2: Promote our photography to your families

Club Solano Receive a selection of images from each team that signs up when you help promote us to your families.

Promote signing up for action photos via:
- Emails to Club Members
- Links and/or badges on the Club Website
- Posts on Social Media
For each team from a partnered club that signs up for one of our full digital coverages, the club will receive a curated selection of images from the coverage as downloadable images which you can use on your club website and promotional materials. (Social media, emails, flyers, etc.)

This Year's Events

We're photographing a number of NCVA events this year. We may add more (e.g. Power League Championships in Reno). If you would be interested in having us photograph at an event not listed, please contact us to see if we have availability.

We know that inflation is a definite problem right now and we are working very hard to maintain, and even lower, our prices by keeping our overhead as low as possible. Additionally events in or near Sacramento or that do not require overnight stays are priced lower than major and extremely popular events such as Far Westerns. If you would be interested in purchasing a coverage for a Power or Premier League weekend event please contact us and let us know which weekend you are interested in. If it does not conflict with a scheduled event elsewhere, we would be happy to work with you!
